Teacher Exchange

This program aims to provide an opportunity for a regional learning, teaching and understanding for vocational-technical teachers, pre-service teachers, and staff among the network members in Southeast Asia. Through this program, teachers can dispatch themselves with the regional learners and teachers and community through four activities including lectures, Industry Visit, Community Services and other Class Observation. The SEA VTTEP aims to bridge the learning gap among learners and participants who wish to take part in teacher exchange programme, specifically, it can help build regional understanding and sharing among the SEAMEO Family.

To operationalize this exchange programme, participating schools/colleges sign a Letter of Agreement (LoA) under the coordination and facilitation of SEAMEO TED to agree on the process and timelines of the exchange. The exchange can be between two-week to four-month duration. The participating schools/colleges of the program should have the filed of teaching in mechanics/electronics and manufacturing, agriculture/fisheries/animal science, computer science/informatics, hospitality and tourism and automobiles. The program is cost sharing basis.
