To support the needs of the supply chain system in SEA happens in the era of digital economy, SEAMEO TED working together with Guangxi Transport Vocational and Technical College, proposes training and tutorials namely Logistics Knowledge Training for SEA Vocational High School Network. This training was aimed to educational institutions to enhance logistics literacy for teachers in order to make teaching staff in SEA to learn about the most sophisticated logistic knowledge and experience. The participants of the training are expected to obtain the competencies as the following:
1.Learning development direction of logistics industry thoroughly
2.Learning current situation of Chinese logistics industry
3.Learning edge-cutting logistics technology
4.Developing skills of logistics technology
5.Understanding and utilizing logistics technology application tools
The two professors for the training, Lecturer Zhuang Huizi and Lecturer Liang Yueyue , have teaching and research experiences in logistic related fields for many years. They will contribute their knowledge as much as possible in this field to provide teachers with logistic skills and competence. The training program was arranged in three phases: Phase 1: Training was formed as a Live Lecture for 2 hours on the 26th January, 2021. This phases outlined on three main topics: Current Logistics Situation, Logistic Cooperation between Guangxi Province and ASEAN, and Future Collaboration Prospects between Guangxi Province and ASEAN.
This phase 1 has the participants of 55 from countries including Cambodia (7 participants), Indonesia (22 participants), Malaysia (5 participants), Laos (4 participants), Philippines (14 participants), Singapore (2participants) and Timor Leste (1 participant). The Phase 2 will be conducted early March in the form of Recorded Lecture, using China-ASEAN Technical Education Cooperation Platform and the duration of each Lecture will be 30 minutes to 60 minutes and the number of Participants shall be 30~40 people. The phased 3 will be conducted in Middle of March in the formed as a Live Test Coach & Assessment (1hour ~ 2 hours) and Number of Participants: 30~40 people.
