The international webinar on TVET Post Pandemic was successfully held

SEAMEO TED, collaboration with Go Study Global Education and its partners and network, an international webinar on TVET Post Pandemic was co-organized on 21 April 2021 virtually. The webinar was aim to share TVET development strategies post pandemic from country to country as a benchmarking model for consideration; and to learn and benchmark the strategies from each other for TVET development regionally. The webinar was started by updating progress of SEA Vocational-Technical Network from Dr. Songheang Ai, the SEAMEO TED Director and the moderator. Welcome remarks was given by Ms. Echo Qin, Director of International Relations in Go Study. She meaningfully welcome to all quest speakers and participants of the webinar and highlighted some commitment of Go Study Global Education and future collaborative plan and support given by China.It was such a great occasion that an opening remarks was given by Dr Ethel Agnes Pascua- Valenzuela, the director of the SEAMEO Secretariat The webinar has two sessions, including TVET Development Strategies Post Pandemic and Best Practice Sharing. Session I: TVET Development Strategies Post Pandemic

the Session I four important topics were shared by speakers from Cambodia, Indonesia and China. (Topic 1) the Road to Vocational Education Revitalization in Post- pandemic Era, Topic (2) Reimagining learning on TVET in the higher education post-pandemic b; (3) TVET during Covid-19 Era in Cambodia ; and (4) Case Sharing on International Cooperation in Post-pandemic After session I ended, video of Covid-19 response was shared to gain attention of participants by hearing from the concerns and hope of students and teachers from some countries in the region amid the pandemic. Session II: Best Practice Sharing In the Session II two topics were shared by experts from the Philippines and Singapore as follow: The topic 1 was integrative Assessment: Reframing of Assessment Practice in the New Normal The second topic of session II was:Industry-Centric Skills Development Framework. The international webinar was official closed by the SEAMEO High Official for Cambodia, H.E. Dr. Dy Khamboly. He believes that the webinare is of great significance and that there are many experiences and knowledge that can be borrowed from different countries.Finally he, appreciated the initiatives and commitment of SEAMEO TED and its partners for making this important event possible.
