II. School Demographic Information
The school, Tanauan School of Fisheries (TSF) was established on June 16, 1957 by virtue of the Republic Act No. 1559 as a district and separate vocational school under the direct supervision and administration of the then Bureau of Public Schools, and then the Bureau of Vocational Education. It is located in Tanauan-Talisay road 10 kilometers away from the city proper. The school is within the vicinity of Brgy. Ambulong along the lakeshore of Taal and it is considered as a rural area where most people are fishermen, farmers and factory workers. It is accessible to different modes of transportation such as jeepney, tricycle and private vehicles. TSF is under the supervision of a Vocational School Administrator assisted by Department Heads, being an Implementing Unit, it is nationally funded, having its own Administrative Officer, Cashier and an Accountant.
