SCHOOL BACKGROUND
Spanning across a 32-acre plot of land located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Kolej Vokasional Shah Alam ( KVSA) was established on 26 June 1989 under the ADB III project and was completed in September 1992. It is located in the heart of industrial area.
Under the Vocational Education Transformation Plan, the Ministry of Education has restructured the education system to place the vocational education in the mainstream of the national education landscape, hence, shifted the emphasis of human capital from the academic-oriented to the vocational graduates.
Starting of as a pioneer vocational college in 2012, KVSA is now offering 5 education programmes namely Industrial Machining Technology, Welding Technology, Database Management & Web Application, Computer System & Networking and Business Management. The 4-year programme, comprised of Pre-Diploma and Diploma courses, will provide students with basic skills and theoretical knowledge, backed by the practical components, in line with the country’s aspiration to produce skilled and semi-skilled manpower of the future.
